Operator Name: Rural Lift for SW Fermanagh What is Dial a Lift?
From Tuesday 1st April Rural lift introduced a new service. It is a Pilot and is being trialled for one year.
A door-to-door service for individuals living in Rural Lift for South West Fermanagh areas who have no access to transport.
It can be used for:
Ø Shopping
Ø Doctor and Health Centre appointments
Ø Hairdressers
Ø Pharmacy
Ø Post Office
You can also use the service to access training or recreational opportunities or even just to visit friends or family.
Who can use these services?
To be a member of Dial a lift you must meet the following criteria:
Ø Live in a rural area; i.e. an area not covered by the Urban Door to Door scheme
Ø Be socially excluded
Ø Have no access to conventional transport
Do I need to register with Dial a Lift?
Yes. Members must be resident in the operating area and can request a membership application form by telephoning Rural Lift For South West Fermanagh: 02866324260
How much will it cost to use the service?
Registration is free.
Ø 0-15 miles £2.00 each way
Ø 16-20 miles £3.00 each way
Ø 21-25 miles £4.00 each way
Ø 26-30 miles £5.00 each way
Ø 31+ miles as above £0.30p per mile
When is the service available?
The service is normally available from 8am to 6pm each day of the week with exceptional operating hours during public holidays.
How do I make a booking?
Bookings can be made by contacting Rural Lift for South West Fermanagh 028 6632 4260. All bookings are advised to be made by 4pm on the last working day before travel. Later booking may be accepted subject to availability.
This service is not available to the general public.
