Down Community Transport have merged with Peninsula Community Transport and Accessible Community Travel Services - the company name is now Down District Accessible Transport. Each "branch" of the company will continue to operate under their existing trading names and from thier existing address - see our website www.ddat.travel

Down District Accessible Transport aim to improve access to fully accessible transport across the community, thus promoting social inclusion, targeting social need and reducing rural isolation especially for people with disabilites.
a. By employing drivers and recruiting volunteers from local communities.
b. By increasing the sense of local ownership through local fundraising, maintenance and management.
c. In partnership with other transport providers, both statutory and commercial, in order to provide a comprehensive infastructure to the benefit of the community.
